I have a side question about this badge in general. I notice a dark area at the upper left of the scroll. Not sure what it is, but how would you clean or remove that without damaging the badge?

Thanks,

Terry

I have left it as it's patina rather than anything that would corrode it. You could polish it up but it would lose its character in my opinion.
