Despatch Rider - Civil Defence?
This Despatch Rider badge was shared in an ARP/Civil Defence Facebook group. There's a couple of rare photos showing DR badges worn on CD battledress. The colour appears similar to the 'old gold' worn by the CD.
On other threads it appears these are all unofficial and I think they have suffered from being faked in the past. Any thoughts about this one would be useful. Last edited by londonclanger; 12-03-21 at 12:44 PM. |

Yep - that's an image from my website. I may add this yellow/old gold one if peeps think it kosher.
This photo I had not seen until this week (posted on the FB group). |

I agree, a good patch.
