Ceylon Mounted Rifles

I’ve inherited a raft of buttons and badges related to my great grandfather and the Ceylon mounted rifles.

I can’t find much about them. Is there any info people could point me too?

Equally I’m assuming they are purely nostalgic and historical rather than worth anything of value?
