Default On the better late than never theory...

Hi, everyone -

Thought it might be a good idea to explain my presence here, seeing as I've splattered requests around fairly broadly so far.

I'm a museum volunteer and immersed myself in taking inventory about a year and a half ago. That started from a request to reorganize the World War I displays. Oi!

At any rate, let's just say the artifact records are lacking in detail and clarity. Hence, I've found the knowledge held by the people here most welcome when it comes to identifying certain items. It's amazing how much one can discover by digging through the web, but, sometimes the rabbit hole just gets too deep.

Personally, I have a CEF cap badge collection which includes all the front line infantry battalions and selected others which suited my vision for the display. I started off planning to only buy ten...

For the record, inquiries I make do not lead to artifact sales. This is strictly for correct archiving information. I wish I could be as helpful to others, however, I find most people here are pretty quick off the mark in providing answers and I simply don't possess the same knowledge level.

Cheers!!

Speaking as someone else new to this world, I am finding that truer words were never spoken!
