Default i know these arent right!!!

Hello thought i'd included these, sorry if i spoilt the threads of some great badges with these 3, as you can see all different: lugs slider and metal.

I've read in a book that states that they were produced fro tea spoons until commercially manufactured. has anyone seen/can provide a picture of a commercially produced No2 Commando Cap badge. i'm sure there should be a fair few available, i would probably say the same amount as the ME Commando badge (the version over 39mm)!!

Hi Ted,

Here are some images of the badge I posted earlier (without the black backing). This badge seems to be professionally made and does not conform to the usual post war production copy’s in detail, so I feel there is a strong case for this being one of those made during WWII.

Regards, Roy.

Default No 3 Commando?

Sorry to show my ignorance (I'm relatively new to this absorbing "hobby"/crusade) but what would cap badge would No 3 Commando have worn on their berets?

That of the volunteers parent unit or regiment - No.3 Cdo itself had no distinct headdress badge throughout WW2
