'Tanks' shoulder title.

Royal Tank Regiment shoulder titles from Westlake.

TC (195); RTC (196); RTR (197). TANKS (198) was worn unofficially between 1916-20.

Shoulder titles are often very difficult to read in contemporary photographs and this one is not completely visible, but there is enough to confirm that it is a curved 'TANKS' shoulder title.
