Can anyone tell me when the larger Alberta Gaols badge was worn? and does anyone have an image of it been worn please?

I also have an example of the large Alberta badge. That said, I can't comment other than that. I've always assumed that it was very old and used on a helmet of some kind.

Thanks to a connection of Milcollectorblue hear we have it, early 1950's Warden's cap badge.

I must of had this badge over 30 years, a pick up from the old collectors market at the Angel London.

Many thanks for that. Bit large for a cap, but that's obviously what it was used for.

Yes Dave, I agree. Every day is a school day. :-)

The smaller badge was used as a cap badge and collar badge for junior grades/ Officer ranks.
