Copy, lump under joint of left wing.
Wing tips protrude beyond the wing, crown is also incorrect shape.
Regards steve

Ps if your after a real one let me know.

Sadly appears someone bought it just now.

In addition to what Steve has mentioned the die flaw on the wing was not present on earlier strikes from this fake die, but is now commonplace for a significant number of years.

A good visualisation by Jerry.

Whist the wing flaw is very eye catching it was not present on earlier strikes from this die as mentioned earlier.

An example below alongside the illustrated one in the Marsh Militaria repro catalogue, both sans flaw.

Default Parachute Regiment KC

Hi all, I am a newbie, although being ex-Para Regt, I was not aware of the minefield of badge collecting, I wish to buy a Parachute Regiment KC badge, but after reading through numerous post's I am still non the wiser, could someone run their eyes over this, before I buy, or could anyone recommend somewhere could buy a genuine reasonably priced one.
Bye for now Jimmy

Luke, the only alarm bell on the Marsh fake you show is the extended wing tips that I can see. Am I missing anything else?
