Boer War Cap badge, Canadian?
Hi all,
I was recently offered a group of Boer War medals, which also came with a Scots Guard cap badge to a British regiment. However, I saw this badge with slider in there and thought I had seen it in a Canadian book somewhere, there was another Canadian badge with a "C" and "S" crossed that looked similar. Its probably a common badge and I should know it, just can't think of it right now Could anyone give me an idea? Thanks! |

I took a look closer at the first pic posted. I have to ask, is that a pic accidentally in reverse or do you have a badge stamped in reverse.

Thank you both! I did accidentally reverse it btw- I'm embarrassed I forgot such a common one, to Bill A the badge came with both Queen and King South African Medals as well as his WW1 set, so I thought it might have been earlier.

The slider suggests that this badge was worn on a pugaree.
