Default RAF ?

Can anyone ID the two attached badges please. The top one appears to have the Kings crown but I don't know what the letters in the centre mean!

The lower one id marked sterling so could this be a sweetheart, but I have not come across this one before, any ideas please?

regards

The top item I have never seen but maybe an airline badge. The lower one is a fabrication, most probably for a sweetheart, using a shoulder title attached to an Officers cap eagle and then brooched.

The top one looks like it is an acid etched MTC Crest on a silver wing?

Thanks to Dave Graham & Stephen for your comments,I have attached a close up of the centre of the first badge hoping for a positive ID, also a couple of images of the reverse of both badges.

Thanks again for looking.

Can see the "M" and the "T" but the other looks more like an "E" the upper and lower arms of the "E" appears to be a "C" but then the central arm of the "E" is overlaid onto the other two, it is very small and easily overlooked, and how it goes together I haven't a clue!

There appears to be a second example of the RAF / Eagle combination recently listed on eBay Makes you wonder how many of these there are and when they were manufactured

I think the casting on yours is more uniform though (looking from the rear, the one on eBay has inclusion / gaps on the left wing tip) - I also think its overpriced IMO

If you look at the prices of his other 'offerings' I don't think he actually wants to sell anything....!
Time will tell.
