Default 9th Overseas Mounted Rifles. Inglis.

This badge was in a small mixed lot with some British badges and a lugless 10th Canadians badge. I don't know a great deal about these badges and would like your comments.Regards.Phil.

Thanks Phil. I couldn't tell from the image if it was a collar or cap. Definitely a cap with those dimensions.

Hi Bill. I have just found my copy of Military Badges by Cox which has two sizes the one i have covers the image as near as damn it, i have measured the other image which is 33x33. I am now confused as to what size a collar badge would be especially regarding the second version. Are the collar badges the same as the cap badge's?. Regards Phil.

Hi Phil, I think that Cox is in error. The smaller of the two badges he imaged is a collar badge.

Bill i think you are right it would seem stupid to issue two sizes for the short life of the badge.I shall keep it as a nice example. Regards Phil.
