Can't help with identity but found same badge plus 'bar' on American site.

Hi
Yes it's USAAF trade badge , bars were added hung from bottom detailing trade is gun fitter, bomb loader etc It dates from WW2. Regards Steve |

Does the tablet say motor? At a guess some kind of mechanic badge. You can see the eyelets on the badge in the OP so no doubt it too had the same tablet and chain originally.
