Default A much faked Scottish badge

Hello Chaps,
I recently took the plunge and purchased this Gordons Cross Belt Plate.I know you get them for sale on dealers lists and the Internet. They come all in one piece, either in brass or white metal, which I would say are not original. (this one I hope is) I do not want to remove the copper plate, or the felt fabric on the reverse to see if XC11 is attached. Or if it is fixed to the badge, also who would wear it O/R, NCO,or OFFICERS. The Star is white metal and the cross brass/gilt
Thanks Garry.

Yes, I agree. Complete modern fake.

Its had a bit of tinkering at the rear to give it a 'used' look but.....
