Default Mystery side cap

Good morning .

I am hoping someone is able to help me identify and date this side cap.

I am still going through my fathers collection . However there appears to be some of his fathers "stuff" mixed in there. S could be WWI or WWII

There appears to be a missing numeral badge from the cap. ie. ? 5 0 .

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

Phil

This looks like a very old FFSCap..... look at the 17L below and you will see a very similar cap. The 17L photo is dated to Feb 1900.

Default Badge to match the cap

Thank you so much for your help with this.

I believe I have matched the side cap with a badge in the collection.

My father was a member of the boys brigade in the early thirties.

All starting to piece together.

Thank you again

Phil
