Default Bomb Disposal cloth title

Can anyone tell me anything about this shoulder title, please? Who wears, or wore it? Any information on it would be welcome.

Fred

hope you're keeping fit and well. I may well be wrong but I think that it is worn by Royal Navy Bomb disposal personnel (it's very much in the style of RM shoulder titles)

Uniquely, (i hope i'm right on this).
It is only worn on one shoulder, with corresponding style ‘Royal Navy’ title on the other.

Thanks to all of you for the information, which makes sense as the chap I got it from has just started collecting Naval items, and had this as a trade, although he didn't know what it was, either. I will now let him know.

Paul, it's good of you to ask. I am well thanks as I hope you are too. If things get better, perhaps we'll see each other again at one of the Military Heraldry Society meetings in the future.

RAF Scampton - 18th July is possibly still on. No notification from Malcolm Beech that it has been cancelled yet. Fingers crossed it will go ahead.

Interesting, as I previously had several early MTP lightweight jackets badged as I described.
