Default 2 MMG British or Canadian?

Have had this badge for a few years and wondered about its lineage. Is it one that should be in the British section? Has anyone seen it before?
Thank you
Don

Default 2MMG

I am by no means an expert on Canadian badges, but L.L. Babin's book shows three Motor Machine Gun Brigade badges, non of which resembles this badge.

Don, I have never heard of that badge being attributed to the Cdn MMG's.

Neither have I. Just wondering if someone out there had a positive ID or not.

There have been several spurious MGC badges posted in the past, born in Blackpool from memory, I wonder could this be another?
Regards Tony.
