Highlander Collar Badges
I attach a portrait photograph of 2 Highlanders. I think the period may be immediate post-ww1. The attachment's not very clear I'm afraid, but their collar badges are 'C' above '72', separated by a horizontal bar. Camerons?
Any help / pointers most welcome |

Seaforth Highlanders of Canada 72n Bn CEF
Hi, If the collars read C/72, they are men from the 72nd Bn CEF, the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada. There appear to be formation patches visible?

If you look at the jackets - the Rh chap has a Scottish style cut away front for the kilt while the other has the standard fronted jacket. Also the Rh one appears to have full puttees while the LH ones appear to be the shortened ones. If I am correct I would say mid war rather than post.
