As far as I can tell the beret is original. Hard to pin the date down as its rubbed. My concern is the sell, relish way this is being sold!!

That para beret is a total pile of sh1t!

Thanks Irv. I thought it looked ok. I guess the seller was not happy with the low price it made first time and pulled the sale.

I will say about the RM beret is that it has been re badged from an Officers/SNCO set up and also someone has pissed about with the leather cover to the rivets. Now you have got to ask why on earth would you re stitch the leather cover on the rivets unless something else is going on with this beret??? If it was your beret and it was coming off you would just pull it off!
Just not an untouched beret which is what you are looking for.
