Buttons are King's crown so it should be pre 53/4.

I would be happy to date it c. WWII, perhaps plus or minus a few years, but certainly pre QEII.

Hi Andy, I would love to show you the back of this badge! But it was hell to get it out and even more hell to put it back in place again without causing any damage! (My hands are to big and I did hear a rip ) All I can say is that it had an impressed mark and I couldn't find any hall mark's on it. So I think that it is a base metal badge that has been silvered.
