Cheshire Reg OSD collar badge.
I have recently came across a photo of a officer wearing the cap badge sized collar badge, this is the first photo I have seen it being worn so I thought I would share the information.
In Colin Churchill’s book he states that it was mentioned in the 1902 Dress Regulations, for newly introduced ODS. It again appeared in the 1904, Dress Regulations but not the in 1911. I appears it was not a popular choice because of the size. As much as I enjoy collecting badges I also really enjoy researching when and where they where worn and getting proof. |

I probably need a visit to Specsavers, but on my screen the badges look more like the Worcestershire Regiment?

Hi Guys
I don't think it is Worcs but it could also be East Yorkshire. The Worcs OSD badge doesn't have such a 'full' star I don't think. Cheers, Alex |
