From the RACD ledgers there are a number of Britannia badges (without wreath)
but it's difficult to determine which is cap / FSH or collar. there is an 'irregular' tapered top to sheaf, sloping visor front H40 W34 - but this is thought to be akin to SP 11083/1937 very complicated ??? |

Andrew - do you have any more information about the cross belt plate in post 9? I have always been slightly dubious about that style of plate -it is clearly not the pre 1855 version, after which cross belt plates were abolished. Who would have worn this, when, and for what purpose? Ceremonial duties or some such thing? |

Lovely Andrew, if you’re talking about wider use of the badge I did have a WM version on screw posts. As you’ve shown the design was utilised way beyond the FSH Pagri.
