What is this, Came up on local site for the NMA, is it Chindit and what is the 'X11?

It’s called a Chinthe, not a Chindit

It is not the badge of 3rd Indian Infantry Division/Chindits

I think the "Chindit" references made are to the actual personnel of the Long Range Penetration Groups, not to the mythical creature depicted on the sign.
