Rank Chevron dating question again.
Having looked at every rank chevron thread on this forum I cannot find a definitive answer to the question of dating a rank chevron.
The particular type illustrated does not appear to be of WW2 or later vintage or have the cross hatching of the type used during the Great War. Is anyone able to state when this specific type was worn and who might have worn it? |

Could it possibly be WWII on Jungle Green, so 1944 forwards?
I hope someone with more knowledge than me can help you out. Ken |

Ken,
I read your P.M. before I saw that you had replied to my thread. I do not think that this has a jungle green backing. It appears to be made from the same colour material as the O.R.'s khaki shirts used in Western Europe during WW2. Simon |
