Default The TANK arm badge, from the General's mouth...

Reviewing some LAC documents, I came across this note from a meeting, October 30, 1942.

Gen. Worthington advised that he had introduced this badge into the 4 Cdn Armd Div in Canada to foster CAC esprit de corps during the conversion period. As such it had served a useful purpose and he was now prepared to see it disappear. The meeting decided that this badge should now be discontinued in CAC, but will not be taken out of wear until the new CAC distinguishing shoulder title is available.
