Commonwealth War Graves Alluminium Plaques
There have been a variety of these sold on ebay recently, I as lucky to win this one, I assume the device is the same size as the ones on the gravestones (13inches accross the circle)?
I wonder if they are the original patterns or perhaps something to do with the manufacture of the grave stone? Rob |

Hi rob , I think you will find this goes in a machine that copies it onto a headstone. So the stonemason sets out the badge, and words below, than a arm follows the design, and the engraver follows the arm.A bit like a sketch-a-graph.
