"G" ees Type setter help requested.
Several different fonts are found for "G" in titles, metal and embroidered. Can someone identify the correct name for the portions circled in the "G" images below?

Spur
The pointy corner and crossbar of the uppercase 'G' is called a 'Spur'.
The dangly bits on a lower case 'g' is called a loop, with some fonts the lower case 'g' has a double loop.

Follow up on spurs and loops. The same type of spur is always found on the same font?
For example, the Highland Light Infantry of Canada titles have spurs on their "G"s, but different types of spurs. The example without spurs is post war. All spurred G titles are wartime.
