Silver War Badge No B176502
can any one advise if Silver War Badge No B176502

Badge number: 377710 North Staffordshire (Prince of Wales's) Regiment Regimental number: 9832 I could find no records under the badge number you posted could you confirm the number please? thanks Mark |

many thanks looks like the badge is not his, I could not find any records other than his MIC card which shows Balkens Gallipoli and Silver wound badge issued he would have been with the 7th Battalion who took a pasting their. I believe he was from Stone Staffs my home Town to which I collect but can not prove without an address from his records I have a Thomas Jones listed on a photograph from the TF company but relatively common name. Still a good Medal to a very interesting Battalion. Thank you Stephen |
