Default Silver War Badge No B176502

can any one advise if Silver War Badge No B176502

Belonged to 9832 Pte Thomas Jones of the 7th North Staffordshire Regiment just picked up his 1914-15 Star and may be on to silver services rendered badge.

I could find no records under the badge number you posted could you confirm the number please?

many thanks looks like the badge is not his, I could not find any records other than his MIC card which shows Balkens Gallipoli and Silver wound badge issued he would have been with the 7th Battalion who took a pasting their.

I believe he was from Stone Staffs my home Town to which I collect but can not prove without an address from his records I have a Thomas Jones listed on a photograph from the TF company but relatively common name.

Still a good Medal to a very interesting Battalion.
