With regards to the Royal Anglian Regt, the vast majority I have display no seeding to the scroll, however those with sliders marked as listed below all have seeding.

FIRMIN LONDON
FIRMIN
FIRMIN (fatter firmin mark)
MARPLES & BEASLEY
Additionally
Firmin & Sons PLC issue clear plastic bag (dated 01/07/05) marked for and containing a Royal Anglian badge also displays seeding on its scroll. The badge slider is marked with the later 'fatter' FIRMIN' mark.
Firmin & Sons PLC issue clear plastic bag (dated 03/08/04)(another bag is dated 26/06/03) marked for and containing a Royal Anglian badge also displays seeding on its scroll. The badge has the smaller FIRMIN mark.

This study was conducted using a collection of over 400 R.Anglian Anodized with slider cap badges.

Thanks mate,

There you are, seeding clearly favored by FIRMIN and Marples and Beasley.

Thanks for your input and achieves my aim of increasing both my and any interested parties knowledge base.

Regards all

Bess

(400 is a lot!)
