Dean, when you swap the cap badges of the 10th and 11th over you'll need to swap the 17th and 18th over as well.

The GM or the WM? I have an example of both that I'll get confirmed as good ones, and if you're interested Dean I can get one to you? Chris |

Pictures of both types in wear during WW1 exist. My belief is the Artists Rifles was in use at start of the war.

Thanks AlanO & Luke.
I'll post them both on a different thread so not to disrupt this one. Cheers Chris |

Hi 3DG - it would be great to get a confirmed genuine Artists badge and look forward to a PM on either version you wish to part with - my preference would be WM and just let me know the details. My mate Pat (Longdog) runs a freight forwarding service for me so UK postage to keep costs down helps, cheers Dean.

Hi Dean, the Artists Rifles scroll badge in WM was NCOs and is rare, it took me 4 years of incessant searching to find one last year and not seen one since. The WM Artists badge I understand intended was for dress uniform and also worn post WW2. It is of course up to you for your display but I’d go with a GM badge. Cheers, Luke

Hi all,
Well badges and titles updated and should I ever be lucky enough to find a T 11 County of London ST and I will call it done. Thanks to Andy for helping me out. I never thought this would be easy but am pleased I did give it a go, cheers Dean

I feel your pain, it feels like I've been waiting to pair up my 11, 14 & 17 CoL for ever. The next 14 & 17's I come across will more than likely match those I have because I have a couple of unmatched examples of each but not the 11th.

Thanks Simon and I take my hat off to you Keith for collecting pairs, that is just more than twice the pain, cheers Dean

A very fine display of hard to find badges. May I ask what kind of green cloth did you use for the backing? I like it better that the paper board.
