XIV - Kia Kaha Ake Badge
Hello Everyone,
I have recently acquired the following badge which features the Roman numerals, "XIV". It also features the words "Kia Kaha Ake" in a banner. It is topped with a kea. Although I have searched on this forum already, I have only discovered a similar badge, not the exact badge. I would love some confirmation surrounding what this badge would have been awarded for. Thanks in advance. |

Hi,
The collar badges of the 14th South Otago Infantry left and right facing are slightly different design and smaller than the cap badge Cheers Iain Last edited by pukman; 19-09-15 at 02:50 AM. |

I have a number of photo's of soldiers wearing the 14th South Otago Infantry badges, that are on my Face Book community page ''Southland Soldiers and Nurses ',The page is a tribute to soldiers and nurses that served in the major conflicts of the 20th century ,that came from New Zealand's southernmost province .
