Default New RAF uniform?

This, and other, proposed RAF uniforms were posted on Reddit. I can't say I'm overly impressed - any more than I was with the "Thunderbird" No. 2 jacket.

And now I've the theme from Starship Troopers stuck in my head.

Would you like to know more?

Would that be Captain Scarlet without the top coat over the grey primer?

Blimey, I've just looked at the rest of the proposed "uniforms", no hiding your lumps and bumps!
What the hell are they playing at???

Lumps and bumps- reminds me - years ago I was wearing a pair of issue coveralls when I met the Bn 2 I/C in a corridor in Bn HQ.
He immediately burst out laughing and spluttered "Kitchen, you obviously joined for the glamour of the uniform".

The silliness of planning to dress the least athletic service wearing the tightest uniforms possible is beyond belief. The polo shirts are daft, really daft and very civvie. I understand the RAF hierarchy hate PCS because people think the RAF are in the Army on TV but they need a reality check.

A nice finish to it would be a Burberry beret with a gold bling fake diamond studded RAF cap badge from Argos..

In 7 Armd Bde HQ on Telic 1 there was a BALO Flt Lt who was so rotund that none of the NBC suit jackets would zip up over his large belly. No matter how big the jacket and even with the cuffs down to his kness, they did not fit! I don't remember him being in the HQ for very long. How that chap would cope with the skinny fit tops above would be a sight to see!
