Default Interesting 'Australia' Shoulder Title

Hoping someone might be able to help shed some light on this badge as well. I have this shoulder title in a box here. It's about the same size as a 'regular' title, but is just straight (see image for comparison).

I understand that nurses titles were straight, but were also considerably smaller. I've tried find a matching 'mate' for this title - but had no luck. Is this simply a title that wasn't bent for some reason?

Thanks in advance :-)

WW1 Australian title made in England. I have seen this title on several WW1 Aussie tunics which were made in the UK.......not nearly as common as the curved title but not 'scarce'.

Many thanks for the information - I was unaware that such titles existed - I will keep an eye out for a matching one!

Thanks again.
