Default windhunds

just to say hello to you all. i am a militaria dealer, and trade under props resources dept. i may have met many of you already at various shows, and although i have been dealing with militaria for over 26 years on a daily basis, we all still get stuck from time to time. so i will appreciate any help in advance. i do collect, and i do sell. the bonus of this is i pass on new material to the market on a regular basis, and i do find some surprising items. i will stick to the badges that i come across, as this is what the site is all about. but i do sell all manner of militaria. i enjoy metal detecting as a hobby, and i do dig up some very old items. buttons seem to be a forte of the detecting world, but i have found helmet plates in the past. anyway, i look forward to your help, and i hope i can be of assistance to. craig

Hi Craig,

Welcome to the forum. I expect that your experience and knowledge will be gratefully received from time to time.

The forum is a mine of information so I hope also that you get the answers to your enquiries as and when they come.

I have attached some pics of a button that I believe may have been ground dug. It has cleaned up well but has some pitting to the reverse. Would you have an opinion to share on its rarity and desirability.

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Ry
