1rst issue 91rst regiment ?
I just picked up a small lot of badges and this collar was in the bunch. Most of the badges were pretty common but I think this is a first issue collar (1904) to the 91rst regiment (Canadian Highlanders). Am I on the right track?

White metal?
Jim, The ones that I have seen / had have been white metal. There appear to be many different dies used on these collars.

Mine is plated silver, with a slider??? I think is converted from a collar to be used as a cap badge, but for what number of dress I have no idea. I'm still trying to figure out the different uniforms for each infantry regiment let along begin to understand the Scottish regiments.

As I read it according to Brooker the first issue collars were brass... the later issues white metal. Am basing my hopes on that but will consider any other explanations.
