Hello. I am a new member and hope I could get help identifying what may be an Australian hat badge. I have attached two photos showing front and back. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm thinking that you intended to put this in the Australian section but it ended up in the Canadian section.... I don't know Australian badges at all, but the image of the tank is the same as that used on old British and Canadian armoured corps insignia.

I am compelled to ask another question related to the Royal Australian Armoured Corps hat badge - circa 1953 to 1960 I show in my original post. I have seen badges described as "white metal". Could my badge have been originally "white metal" and has tarnished with age or could this badge have been issued in a different color metal? Please forgive my ignorance in this matter. Thank you.

I think it's just tarnished with age.
