WW2 Formation patches

Hi
Just nipped over from www.ww2talk.com researching some WW2 insignia and I've already found loads of useful info - so thought I'd stay a while!
I'm researching 25th Armoured Engineer Bde RE and it's antecedent units.
I'm interested in WW2 Cloth Formation patches/insignia (8th/1st Army). My father was in 1st Armoured Div and 25th AE Bde, N.Africa, Italy and Austria/Germany.
I myself am ex Cdo RE, not a collector as such but have some stuff from Afghanistan and my illustrious career which I'll endeavor to display at some point.
I'll probably be dropping a PM to a few members - I'm already indebted to Mike Jackson for the info he's shared, hope I may be of some use to any other forum members!
