Default Red Cross peaked cap

Hello again! Let me show you this cap...I was told to be WWII era, but to me, it looks just like this 1960's cap you can see in the British red Cross museum off kindness...what do you think? Thanks a lot!

The rounded peak and soft leather sweatband suggest an earlier cap than the one shown in the museum, which has a more D shaped peak

A search on the museum's website brings up photos/details of peaked caps/hats over the years.

Great website, thanks a lot!...Well, as I can see, the only way to date a red cross cap as trully wartime period is about having the leather peak...
Jerry, I really admire your knowledges about caps (and your amazing collection!)...so if you think It could be possible to be wartime, I take that possibility ..Thank you very much!
