Reproduction Canadian Para Wings
I saw this at a recent insignia show in Northern California. It was made somewhere for an insignia delaer out of I believe Arlington, Virginia. This is the same dealer who has had a really good copy of the WW2 era Canadian enlisted paratrooper beret badge made. I asked him about how one goes about telling his beret badge copy apart from the original. He told me that without having one in hand with an original he would not be able to describe how to tell them apart. He told me that he has also had the multi-piece officer beret badge copied which he did not have an example for me to examine. If it weren't for the fact that this Canadian paratrooper wing was being sold as a reproduction I would have thought it was a post war original piece if I came across it on another table.

It's okay, but there are some details that give it away as a repro.
