Smile 140+ badges and patches picked up, any good ones?

Hi all,

Just offered these the other day and deciding if it is worth buying them, price not yet established. Many are post war QC which I really don't like, there look to be a few good WW2 Canadian ones in there. I didn't show 2 pictures of cloth badges, but most were 1980's-1990's. The "COTC" looks interesting, is there anything that stands out or is it just average stuff (I'm already trying to focus on the rarer badges)

Many thanks!

As you say a nice starter collection for someone getting into QC Canadian... In my thinking the only badge I would consider harder to get would be the Yukon regiment QC...the rest are fairly easy to obtain... Jim

The QC Rocky Mountain Rangers collar badge is actually extremely scarce.
My pair in that pattern are the only two I have ever seen.
If the Canadian Airborne Regiment badges are brass rather than "staybright", they are early issue and highly desirable.

Another that usually sells for a good buck is the Irish Fusiliers. Cheers Brian

Thanks again guys for the information, I will see if I get the collection. If I do, forum members are welcome to have first choice on anything there. As usual, there are 10-20 badges I want for myself in a pile of them which I don't need, and even though as you guys mentioned some QC ones are rare, I have no interest.

Thanks

I would be interested in the Irish Fusiliers for sure, maybe some others I would have to check. Cheers Brian

Default Queen's Crown RCMP Cap Badge

Although the Queen's Crown RCMP Cap Badge is a relatively recent badge, 1974, there were not a lot issued as they quickly went to a version with red in the crown. It is a nice badge and not seen to often.
