Hi Guys picked this up but I am sure its fake, lacking detail at the back on the bottom scroll or am I wrong.
Opinions welcome. Thanks in advanced Malc

Yes, correct it is a fake, tall orb on the crown, the various other signs.
There is an old long thread on the forum, think it might have been started by dragonz18 or something similar, in which one of the members has highlighted the signs. Not sure that the lack of detail behind the bottom scroll is necessarily a bad sign, I'm right this minute looking at a silver-plated die-stamped Territorial Artillery officers cap badge in which the definition is not the best on the back of the scroll.
