Default Need Help Identifying!!

Hi All,

Purchased this badge with a lot. However have no clue as to where it belongs! I would appreciate your knowledge. Believe to be CD or ARP??!!

I might move this badge on if it does not have a place in my collection.

Thanks in advance.

Vincent

I posted back in September 2014.

Inconclusive as NBK just a spat about the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers (which it is not!)

Having read the previous thread and its various 'discussions' - my best guess would be Canadian (if it is indeed military). Having worked with Canadian forces, they do favour embroidered cap badges generally worn on the front of some type of 'floppy' hat. They are generally 2-tone in colour, circular in shape and have a thick merrowed edge.

If it is Canadian it would potentially be the right colours for a contemporary desert deployment.

However as to unit/Regiment . . . no clue I'm afraid.

Regards all

Bess

Thank you for your replies. I visited the thread and to be honest I got nowhere, as you (Tim) have pointed out the discussion was inconclusive!

It was amongst a lot of Civil Defence badges, so my first thought took me there.

I will live in hope. Till then, thank you for your time and contribution.
