Default NORTHAG PATCH

Was the Northag patch produced in left & right versions? I always thought the Axe blade faced to the LEFT therefore making it look like a "7" but the attached photo shows it facing to the RIGHT.
Which is correct please?

Jerry

I have it facing left and right. Unless the middle one is back to front?

The definitive version of the design had the blade facing to the left - as per the enamelled sign on a leather fob and NORTHAG documents.
