Parachute Corps Patch
Picked this piece up recently. Is this considered a souvenir type item or would it have seen any official wear?
thanks Jack

I'll let one of the other Canadian members give you a definitive answer, but it looks to me like a blazer badge.

Good day Jack,
More likely, a sports type patch. If you have access to Ken Joyce's book, "Into the Maelstrom", you will find an identical example in there. Illustration #351 on p. 198. Worn in 1945. Hope this helps. Regards, Ian

Thanks Ian and David, I have recently found a copy of the book mentioned. Do not have it in hand yet.
Best Jack
