Royal Mercian & Lancastrian Yeomanry Badge with Buff/Grey Backing on Beret.
Hello, has anyone any ideas on this one please?
A dark blue beret (no date or other markings, fabric headband) with the badge of The Royal Mercian & Lancastrian Yeomanry on a buff or light grey coloured felt backing. The felt has a black plastic backing to it, possibly masking tape, and is not sewn to the beret. Could it have been worn by a member of the Yeomanry attached to the Staffordshire Regiment circa 2006-07, or the 3rd Bn Mercian Regiment circa 2007-14, the backing representing the old Stafford's Holland cloth badge backing? Apologies for poor quality of photos. |
