And in good condition by the look of it. Has it been re-shellac'd, or whatever the proofing would be?

No its untouched I just put some wax on it to help preserve it even has a makers stamp inside it's the first real one I have seen other than in photos

Bit more work getting there. Amazing all the holes ect fit perfectly . Did a couple of minor repairs and gave it a light coat of Renaissance wax

I’m really pleased for you, Mac. As I said on the phone, there can’t be too many of these that have survived, what a 100 + years...quite amazing really!
