Canada Cloth Badge
Hi,
I have looked and looked but can't find an id for this badge - is it even military? It came with a Commonwealth patch and some Royal Signals items along with personal papers, so I'm guessing its contemporary with them (1950s). Could have been a swap amongst soldiers? The white thread on the back has gone yellow so it has some age. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated, Gary |

It's a Canadian Korean War era Infantry shoulder flash. Nice piece of Canadian history, but not scarce or overly valuable hereabouts.

A bit more information. It was the 25 Canadian Infantry Brigade patch for Korea, but was repurposed as the Canadian national identifier for international deployments starting in the mid-1950's through 1968 ish. You will see it on UN deployments and some foreign assistance deployments.
