Default RQMS rank badge - Who? - Australian?

Hello,

Picked this nice rank badge up of an RQMS for my collection but dont recognise the colour combo of yellow on red?

I do have similarly coloured shooting prize badges dated 1903 - 1905 period in the same colours which I think may be from Oz but have no idea really.

Can anyone recognise the unit or even the Commonwealth Country if not British please.

regards

Household Cavalry perhaps?

They have NCOs who wear 4 stripe rank.

Its very similar to the Regimental Quartermaster here:

The badge is pre-1915 when all RQMS wore the badges shown.

bc,

Here are the yellow on red Shooting badges that I referred to in the earlier post.

Identical colour construction.

The are not British but are they Australian?

Furthermore I dont know which country would have had an 'M' over the crossed rifles, certainly not UK but definately Commonwealth.
