STG or TSG ?

Seeking ID help please for this enamel collar size badge with two loop fixings on the back. May be Military, or may not be! Thanks for any assistance.....

I’ve sent a copy of the image to my father. He was Met Police SPG, which became the TSG, just incase it’s a Police thing.

Sorry to say, it’s not a Police badge. Nothing to do with the Territorial Support Group (TSG).
