Default CEF Book Project - New Images Required

Well after "bugging" Clive for years about this book, it seems that we have started!

What we want is a complete (or as complete as possible) collection of each unit badges. I will post here what we have and ask if anyone has an example of a known variant. If you wish to share images of your collection badges; we would be pleased to include them in the book.

I would ask that the images be sent to me "full-sized", no compression!!. Well lite, focused and with a good depth of field. Sometimes a scanner works very well for this, sometimes it is a camera.

Please identify the badge by Unit Name -Mount Style (Lugs, Flat Plate, Slide), Orientation E-w or E-N-W, Material (Copper, Brass .....) Finish and Maker.

Please! only attribute a Badge to a Maker if the mark is on the badge - - no deductions!!!

Thanks - Hoping you will help

A wonderful project Larry,

As you know I'm a novice Canadian collector and only have a very small collection of suitable insignia but of course would be happy to support this project with any images you feel are suitable.

Cheers, Roy.

Roy - You may have a small collection, but! your badges are very very nice! Do I have your permission to use your images in the book?

Hi Larry,

Thank you for those kind words.

Yes you have my permission to use any of my images. If you require any more Larry just let me know.

Also I am expecting two more interesting badges over the next two weeks. I plan to post them of course for members to comment, so let me know when/if you need images.

Cheers, Roy.

Bump.
As we are getting to the point of identifying the badges we have and those we still need I would be grateful for any images that have been promised be sent to Larry as soon as convenient.
Thnx,
C

Hello guys,

I've opened up my album to the;

28th North West Battalion (Saskatchewan) Canadian Infantry
(Canadian Experditionary Force) 1915-1920

I'm still short of the "C/28" collars though

If any images are useful to you and your book you have my permission to use them.

Let me know what you think and if you need better images or different backgrounds I'll send them to you.

Ken Blake

Hi Larry,

Feel free to use any pictures off my site for this project. Most have full descriptions but feel free to ask if you need any more.
