Default Somerset LI cloth title question

Hi folks

Attached are four cloth titles.

My questions are

Is No1 a faded yellow on green title or did they wear a white on green version at some point?

Is No3 a cut down version of No4 and was it worn like this or has someone just buggered about with it?

Cheers
Sean

I have the following snippets...

30.04.50. List of Changes C4078- Titles, Arm, Embroidered.
Somerset L.I. (Cat No CB 2195).
New Patterns.
New Patterns (No 14119) of the above-mentioned title has been sealed to govern future manufacture.
The new pattern titles differ to the old pattern in that the lettering in gold, measuring 3/8”, mounted on a dark green background, the overall length being 7”.
There is no change in designation and Cat No in each case.
Existing stocks of the old pattern will be used up.

25.11.58. At their 115th Meeting of the WODC, the Committee decided to approve the wearing of an embroidered arm title ‘THE SOMERSET AND CORNWALL L.I.’ in gold lettering on dark green [later amended to Light Infantry Green], by all ranks of The Somerset and Cornwall Light Infantry when in BD.

WO32/20561
Undated handwritten list, probably prepared @4.68. provides the following information on Titles, Arm, Embroidered:
Somerset- White on rifle green

22.11.67. At the 183rd Meeting of the ADC it was decided to approve the following items of D&E for wear with No5 [Battle] Dress by The Somerset Yeomanry and Light Infantry (Territorial):
e) Title- New pattern arm title embroidered ‘SOMERSET’ in white on rifle green to replace the following arm titles approved at Decision 1779 [Meeting?] and shoulder titles approved at Decision 1570 and 1784 [Meeting?]:
Title arm embroidered SLI (CB 8455-99-974-0687)
Title arm embroidered QOD & WSY (CB 8455-99-974-2214)
Title WM NSY/44 RTR (CB 8171)
Title ‘NSBY’ silver AA to Design 0.2351.

I cannot find anything on your two-line cloth title
Stephen.

Many thanks, so for Somerset LI we have the war time white on red followed by gold on green in 1950.

A white on Green "Somerset" only for the "T" battalion in 1967 which as a cadre probably didn't have time to get any new badges?

I would suggest that the 3rd SOMERSET L.I. is a cut down version of the 4th SOMERSET L.I. over XIII

As far as im aware ,the single line gold on green was the last title worn. So No3 was definately worn. No4 came before No3 .Ill have a root through my images ,im sure i have images of it being worn.
